Based within our PDSA host practice in Gateshead, this is a high caseload, fast paced ECC clinic. The clinic is well known for delivering emergency and critical care to an exceptional standard, making it an ideal environment for vets looking to truly develop their ECC expertise.

This is a full on, rewarding place to work, with a varied and complex caseload and strong clinical exposure. This a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to secure a permanent role in a highly regarded setting.

Rota pattern

This is a part time role following a 4 week rolling rota, offering a great balance of concentrated shifts and extended time off:

Week 1:

  • Monday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Thursday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Friday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Saturday: 18:00 – 00:00

Week 2:

  • No shifts

Week 3:

  • Monday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Tuesday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Thursday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Friday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Saturday: 18:00 – 00:00
  • Sunday: 18:00 – 00:00

Week 4:

  • No shifts

This rota is ideal for those seeking a flexible, part time ECC role with high clinical exposure and significant time off between working weeks.
