As a weekend Vet at our Ashford clinic, you will work alongside a supportive team, and you will benefit from ongoing mentorship.
Whether you are working a second job or looking to get more ECC experience, this is a great opportunity to further your own knowledge and work with a team who are passionate about progressing the world of emergency and critical care.

The available weekend shifts at our Ashford clinic include 1 in 2 weekends (a weekend of days and a weekend of nights). How many of these shifts you work a month is up to you – we will work with you to find a rota that fits around your lifestyle and clinic requirements. Typically, the available weekend shift times include:
- Saturday day shifts: 12:00 - 19:30
- Sunday day shifts: 08:30 - 19:30
- Saturday and Sunday night shifts: 19:00 - 09:00
- Plus a fair share of bank holidays

Vets Now was founded by Richard Dixon, a veterinary surgeon who understood the pressures of being on-call which also trying to maintain a good quality of life.
Today, almost two decades since Richard did his first out-of-hours shift, we’re still just as passionate about emergency and critical care and our clinics are all managed by people who have worked as frontline vets or vet nurses.
